FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is DNS Radar free?
Yes. You do not need an account and the scan costs nothing.
What happens to my data?
DNS Radar does not store reports. DNS queries usually go straight from your browser. If that fails, or a public MTA-STS policy file needs to be fetched, that request goes through our server. See the privacy statement at the bottom of the page.
Which problems does the scan find?
The scan finds settings that cause problems. For example: mail lands in spam more often, scammers can more easily forge mail in your name, DNS answers cannot be verified, or your website address is not found correctly.
Do I need technical knowledge?
No. The report explains every check in plain language and tells you what you can do. To change something you need access to your domain's DNS settings, usually at your hosting provider.
